COVID-19 Update to Regions Employees 4/21/2020 – English Version

Dear Valued Employees,

Because Regions Security cares about our employees’ wellbeing, we continue to invest into acquiring personal protective equipment (PPE) for distribution to our employees. Our committed Regions Management Team has put together PPE kits and each Regions employee will receive a months’ worth of rubber gloves, alcohol wipes and reusable cloth face coverings. This will help to ensure the continuity of our operations and the delivery of essential security services to our clients. Regions Security Services continues to implement and enforce safety practices to protect our employees and the community to help prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19.

Employees must visit our headquarters during normal business hours in order to receive these kits. This is a mandatory directive. If your post has a Director of Security or Post Captain, he/she may arrange delivery.

Regions employees should adhere to the following CDC-recommended practices prior to and during their work shift:

• Employees should wear a face mask at all times while in the workplace.
• Employees should wear gloves at all times while in the workplace.
• Employees should maintain 6 feet and practice social distancing as work duties permit in the workplace.
• Employees should clean and disinfect their work stations and shared areas such as gatehouses, front desks, private bathrooms for security personnel use and all shared electronic equipment routinely.

Disclaimer: Cloth face coverings provided by Regions are not surgical masks or N-95 respirators, those must continue to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders as recommended by current CDC guidelines. The provided mask, while re-usable, should be washed regularly using hot water and detergent. Continue to follow the guidelines and constant information being disseminated by CDC on how to how to protect yourself and others.
